Shaping a rock-solid business
Our founding director and entrepreneur, Kane Vereker, studied a 4-year stone masonry apprenticeship and then launched his Vereker Stone business as a sole operator in Kyneton in 2008.
Vereker Stone grew quickly as the demand for quality stone products with impeccable finishes and excellent service was high throughout central Victoria. Kane soon employed four staff, and Vereker Stone built a reputable name in the local building and renovating industries.
In 2015, Vereker Stone relocated to Bendigo. This move provided more space for our team and allowed for further growth. While our product focused on natural and engineered stone benchtops, Kane saw an opportunity to expand into other areas. As a result, Andrew McCollum joined the team to grow the business into cladding and splashbacks.
Vereker Stone is now known as VSTONE, with VCLAD and VSPLASH sub-brands representing our cladding and splashback services. To continue VSTONE’s growth and success, long-term team members Steve and Kelly Haw became directors and part-owners of VSTONE alongside founding directors Kane and Jess Vereker.
Now a thriving business with a team of 16, we’re focused on leading the industry in safe manufacturing processes, utilising innovative and cutting-edge technology and enhancing our customer experience.
