Porcelain offers a consistent look that’s hard to beat for a precise and replicable benchtop option. Scratch, stain and heat resistant, porcelain is a highly functional and customisable benchtop surface.

Quality products from trusted suppliers

We source our porcelain slabs and products from trusted Australian suppliers who source direct from international manufacturers. It’s important to us that all our stone comes from reputable brands that uphold the same high level of safety that we demand in our business.

Porcelain is a fantastic option if you’re looking for a kitchen benchtop that seamlessly integrates into your splashback. Because porcelain is heat resistant, this material can be used throughout the kitchen to create stunning on-trend designs.

You can view on-trend porcelain samples at our East Bendigo showroom to understand the surfaces’ benefits and differences from stone.

About porcelain

Porcelain is a ceramic material made from a mixture of clay, feldspar, and other minerals heated at high temperatures to create a hard, dense and durable surface.

Since the stone pattern is subliminally printed on porcelain slabs, manufacturers can design the slab themselves and then print each slab with absolute precision and exactness.

Benefits include:

  • Durability
  • Available in a matte finish
  • Scratch, stain and heat resistant
  • Highly functional surface
  • Ability to mimic the look of natural stone and other industrial surfaces
  • Non-porous (water resistant)

Porcelain is available in a wide variety of colours and patterns, allowing you to choose a design that complements your home’s décor or design vision.

Porcelain benchtop fabrication

After your initial consultation and design selection, we’ll measure your job using the Proliner digital measurer. This state-of-the-art tool integrates directly into our water-jet machines, reducing the risk of inaccuracies and waste. Water jets allow for very precise cutting and detail, resulting in a meticulous finish that cannot be achieved with any other machine.

Safety comes first at VSTONE, and we’re committed to using sustainable, best-practice fabrication techniques that meet industry standards. During fabrication, we adhere to the strictest safety standards with a focus on eliminating or controlling risks to keep our team safe.
